Here are some of the Rules for a fierce, Egyptian Style, Tabla Solo.
These rules are guidelines, not obligations; they´re invitations; they´re Holy because they´ll allow you to respect, honor, and express your Soul.

- Rule #1: You shall be an Original.
Learn the ABC - the Technique, the Rhythms - and, then, play with the ABC.
What you learn from your Teachers is the starting point, not the end.
- Rule #2: You shall be Free.
A Tabla Solo is a space for Freedom - physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual freedom.
You´ll be asked "how free are you?" in your dance & in your life.
- Rule #3: You shall be your full self and in possession of your creativity.
A Tabla Solo is a testament of your identity and creativity. Use both as authentically and freely as possible.
- Rule #4: You shall be wild and fierce.
Tabla Solos are not meant for cute little girls or for "well behaved ladies" - they´re for real women, with real bodies, claiming their wilderness.
- Rule #5: You shall be an eternal explorer.
Tabla Solos are not fixed formulas; they´re not safe, set, frozen, pre-defined. They´re invitations into Exploration - the exploration of who you are and the exploration of your creativity.
