(Learn how to dance with the legacies of Souhair Zaki, Mona el Said, and Mahmoud Reda, three historical figures in the history of Raqs Sharqi, aka belly dance)

During all the years I studied, researched, and worked in Egypt, I had the privilege to study and work with true legends. 

In this 3-workshop series, I´m teaching what three of these legends have taught me. I´ll pass on the legacy of the past so we can move into the future.

Workshop #1 - Mona el Said

Three specific skills in the dance legacy of Mona el Said and how to apply them into your dance.

Dance combination that illustrates these 3 legacy skills.

Style we´ll work on: Baladi Taksim.

Duration of the workshop: 2,30h (two hours and a half)

Live & recorded workshop (the recording is made available to the subscribed students)

Workshop #2 - Souhair Zaki

Three specific skills in the dance legacy of Souhair Zaki and how to apply them into your dance.

Dance combination that illustrates these 3 legacy skills.

Style we´ll work on: Classical Oriental Dance (belly dance) to the music of Om Kolthoum.

Duration of the workshop: 2,30h (two hours and a half)

Live & recorded workshop (the recording is made available to the subscribed students)

Workshop #3 - Mahmoud Reda

Three specific skills in the dance legacy of Mahmoud Reda and how to apply them into your dance.

Dance combination that illustrates these 3 legacy skills.

Style we´ll work on: Reda Style Oriental & Folkloric Dance.

Duration of the workshop: 2,30h (two hours and a half)

Live & recorded workshop (the recording is made available to the subscribed students)

1️⃣. You´ll discover Egyptian Dance from its core, its essence, and true soul through the legacy of three legends: Souhair Zaki, Mona el Said, and Mahmoud Reda.

2️⃣. You´ll learn 6 dance skills - 3 skills per workshop and legend - that´ll awaken a deep understanding and practice of Egyptian Dance (aka belly dance).

3️⃣. You´ll learn three totally different dance combinations (choreographies) with 3 totally different styles which illustrate skills you´ll use, as a dancer, for life.

4️⃣. You´ll expand your Egyptian Dance Vocabulary, your ability to Express Yourself, and your Understanding of the Magnetism of Egyptian Dance (aka belly dance).

5️⃣. You´ll experience a Dance & Personal Awakening through the legacy of the three dance legends you´ll learn from in these workshops.

6️⃣. You´ll go back to the Past so you can move into the Future - as an oriental dancer, and a person.
